Anytown Youth Equity Fellows

I accept my appointment as a Delegate to the Anytown Youth Leadership Institute at the Cricket Holler Scout Camp during the weekend selected above. I recognize my responsibility to myself, my family, school and/or sponsoring agency to be the best possible participant at Anytown. I agree to:

1. Participate in all parts of the program to the best of my ability and be punctual for all events.
2. Meet as many people as possible during the session. Help others feel wanted and accepted.
3. Look for opportunities to see the positive, not the negative, in people and situations.
4. Be ecologically sensitive, i.e., I will not drop trash or paper on the ground nor waste water. Take short five-minute showers, recycle cans in containers, and not write graffiti anywhere at Anytown.
5. Remain on Camp grounds. If it becomes necessary for me to return home, I will let the coordinators know and they will call my parent/guardian to come and pick me up.
6. Participate in interactive programs during the session with the understanding that skits or programs in bad taste or with heavy sexual overtones are not permitted. I will seek advice from the Anytown Coordinator if I have doubts about the content of an activity.
7. Wear my nametag at all times.
8. Be respectful of all community members, their property, and Cricket Holler Scout Camp.
9. Obey curfew times – in cabin area by 10:00 p.m. and inside cabins by 11:00.
10. Refrain from being involved with cabin competitions or raids because of the possible harm that can occur, thereby ruining the experience for everyone.
11. Respect all members of a cabin—it should be viewed as a private bedroom. There will not be any visits by the opposite sex with the exception of an emergency.
12. Be aware of potential over-association with the same delegates or staff, and make an effort to get to know as many people as possible.
13. Only leave the cabin during “lights-out” for emergencies and with permission of the Anytown Counselor.

I will not bring cellular phones (Phones are available for emergency calls), mp3 players, electronics, etc. to Anytown. I will not possess or use alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons (including pocketknives), or tobacco.
